Vault Social
Community rules
Last updated 17 September 2026.
Vault Social is for sharing what you log with people you know. You only ever see people you added, and they only see you if they added you back. Turning it on means agreeing to these rules. In short: be decent to the people you add.
Not allowed
- Bullying, harassment, threats, or repeatedly contacting someone who has not added you back.
- Hate or abuse aimed at anyone for who they are.
- Sexual content, and anything sexual involving a child, which is reported to the police.
- Violence, or encouraging someone to hurt themselves or anyone else.
- Spam, scams, and posts or handles pretending to be someone else.
- Anything illegal, including selling alcohol or anything else through the app.
- Using Vault Social if you are under the age the app is for. Beer Vault is for adults only.
Block and report
Every post, comment, friend and friend request has a menu with Block and Report. Blocking is immediate: the person stops seeing anything you share, and cannot send you a request or comment on your posts. They are not told.
A report goes to the developer, who reads every one. The person you report is not told who reported them. You will not hear back about a report, but you can always block as well.
What happens
Anything that breaks these rules is taken down. An account that breaks them badly, or keeps breaking them, is deleted. Something that looks like a crime, or a risk to someone's safety, may be passed to the police.
