Travel Vault
In development
Everywhere you have been, on one map.
Tap the map to mark the countries and cities you have been to, scan a boarding pass and the flight logs itself, and turn on fog of war to watch the map open up wherever you walk. Your Passport adds it all up, with a stamp for every country.
Android and iPhone
Not out yet. It's still being built, so you can't download it yet. Email me and I'll let you know when it is.
What it does
A travel tracker with no account, built for the countries you have been to and the streets you have walked.
-
Countries, then cities
Countries for the big picture, then 64,000 towns and cities for the detail, and places of your own for anywhere smaller. You choose what counts as a country, and the UK can count as four.
-
Fog of war
Turn it on and the whole world starts under fog, clearing wherever you walk, run or drive. It rests the GPS when you stop, keeps no timeline, and adds the places you stay in.
-
Scan a boarding pass
Paper, someone else's phone, or a screenshot of your own: the flight fills itself in. Miles, hours, airports and airlines add up on their own.
-
Bring in your past
Your Google Maps Timeline, the places in your photos, GPX tracks, and your flights from Flighty, myFlightradar24 or OpenFlights. All read on your phone.
-
A passport with stamps
Every number in one place, and a stamp for every country, each one different. Share your map as a picture, or print it as a poster.
-
Works with no signal
The countries, cities and airports are built in, so it works on the plane. No account, no adverts, and a free backup to take everything with you.
What it costs
Marking every country and logging your recent flights is free. Travel Vault Pro is one payment, never a subscription, and there are no adverts.
- Price
- Free, with Pro as one payment
- Purchases
- Travel Vault Pro, once. No subscription.
- Adverts
- None, ever.
Free: every country and territory at any date, with its stamp, the continents, flights from the last three months and anything coming up, backup, restore and spreadsheet export.
Pro adds cities and places of your own, fog of war, older flights, bringing in your Timeline, photos and other apps, the whole Passport with any single year, posters and map looks. Nothing you have logged is ever taken away.
Privacy and support
Your travels stay on your phone. Your location is only read if you turn fog clearing on, and it never leaves the phone. The map comes from OpenFreeMap, with nothing about you attached. No account, no adverts and no tracking. The full privacy policy says exactly what is kept and what is sent.
