Groups for trips and flats, or just you and one friend. Add a bill in seconds, split it any way you like, in any currency, and settle up in as few payments as there can be.
Android and iPhone
Not out yet. It's in closed testing on Google Play, so you can't download it yet. Help test it and you can. Free, with a one-off Plus for extras and no subscription. Email me and I'll let you know when it is.
What it does
Everything a shared bill needs, and nothing it doesn't.

Every way to split
Equally, by amounts, by percentage, by shares, or line by line off the receipt. Several people can pay one bill, and the odd penny is passed round fairly.

Fewest payments
Clementine works out the smallest number of payments that settles a group, keeping what everyone is owed exactly the same. Or see who owes whom bill by bill.

Friends who haven't got it yet
Add people by name, email or number and start splitting straight away. Send an invite link and they can see the group and join it, with or without the app.

Any currency
Each bill can be in its own currency, at that day's reference rate. The group adds it all up in its own currency, or keeps each one separate.

Receipts
Attach a photo of the bill. Scan it and the total fills itself in, read on your phone. With Plus, tick who had each line.

Settle up in one tap
Add your PayPal, Monzo, Revolut, UPI or bank details, and friends paying you get their app opened with the amount filled in.

Clementine is free, with no limit on groups or bills and no adverts. Plus is one payment for extras.

Everything you need to split and settle is free: every way to split, fewest payments, currencies, photos of receipts and sharing with friends. There is no daily limit on bills.
Plus adds line by line receipt splitting, spending breakdowns and exports. It is paid for once and kept for good. There is no subscription, now or later.
Privacy and support
Your groups are kept on your phone, and on the Clementine server once you share them, so friends can add bills too. No adverts, no tracking, and nothing is sold. The full privacy policy says exactly what is kept and what is sent.
