Terms of use

The short version: the game is free to play, anything you buy is optional, your save lives on your phone, and in-game money isn't real money.
The agreement
Compute Capitalist is a game made by Pikeworks, a sole trader in Northern Ireland. By installing it you agree to these terms. If you don't, please uninstall it.
What you get
The game is free to play. You can play it on any device you own. You can't sell it, take it apart to pass off as your own, or use it to break the law.
Adverts
The game shows a short video advert only when you tap Watch for a named reward. The adverts come from Google AdMob, and the privacy policy says what that involves. If an advert doesn't load, or you close it early, you don't get that reward and nothing is used up.
Purchases
Everything for sale is optional. Purchases are made through Google Play or the App Store, on their terms, and refunds go through them.
Double Profits Forever, Boosts Without Adverts, the Best Buy Button and the Starter Pack are yours for as long as the game is available. Restore purchases, in the Store, brings them back on another phone signed in to the same store account.
Gold is spent inside the game. Gold and in-game money have no real-world value, can't be swapped for money and can't be given to anyone else. Gold you buy becomes part of your save: it is kept through Start again and moves with a save code, but the store can't hand it out a second time, so a save lost with no save code takes its gold with it.
If you're under 18, ask whoever pays the bill before you buy anything.
Your save
Your progress is saved on your device. Settings has a save code (Copy code and Load code) so you can move it to another device. I don't run a game server and hold no copy, so I can't restore a lost save.
Availability and liability
The game is provided as it is. It plays offline; adverts and purchases need a connection. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, and your statutory rights as a consumer aren't affected. Beyond that, and as far as the law allows, Pikeworks isn't liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data or lost progress, and any liability is limited to what you've paid for in-game purchases in the twelve months before the claim.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and its courts have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom or in the EU, you keep the protections of your own local law.
