Email gamevault@pikeworks.co.uk. I read every one myself, so please say which device you have and what you were doing.
Quicker still, the feedback form under More sends your device and the app's version, so there is less to explain.
Common questions
I own a game on two platforms. Do I add it twice?
No. Add it once, then open it and tap Add a copy. One game can have any number of copies: the Switch cartridge, the Steam copy, the Game Pass access. Each copy has its own platform, format, edition, region and condition. If you add the same game again from search, Game Vault adds a copy to the one you have instead of making a second entry.
A game isn't in the search.
Tap Add it yourself under the results. Demos, homebrew, regional editions and anything else work the same way as games from the database, and they stay on your device.
Steam says my library is private.
Steam only shares your games when Game details is set to Public. In Steam, open your profile, choose Edit Profile, then Privacy Settings, and set Game details to Public. Bring your library in, then set it back if you like. Game Vault never asks for your Steam password.
How does Shop mode work?
Scan the barcode on a case and Game Vault tells you whether it is already in your library, on what and in which edition. It works with no signal. The first time you scan a game you own, add the barcode to your copy (or add the game from the scan) and it is recognised from then on.
How do I keep my library safe, or move it to a new phone?
Under More, Save a backup makes one file with everything in it. Restore a backup on the new device brings it all back. Or sign in to a Pikeworks account under More, and your library is backed up by itself and comes back when you sign in on the new device.
Can I get my data out?
Yes, any time and for free: Save a backup gives you everything, and Export a spreadsheet gives you a CSV for Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.
I want to bring in a list from another app.
Export it from that app as a CSV, then use Import a spreadsheet under More. Game Vault works out which column is which, finds each game, and asks you only about the ones it is not sure of.
