Game Vault

Terms of use

Last updated 22 October 2026.

The short version: Game Vault is free, your library is yours, and you can take it with you whenever you like.

The agreement

Game Vault is an app made by Pikeworks, a sole trader in Northern Ireland. By installing it you agree to these terms. If you do not, please uninstall it.

What you get

Game Vault is free, with no limit on how many games you add, no adverts and nothing to buy. You can save your whole library as a backup file or a spreadsheet at any time. You cannot resell the app, take it apart to pass off as your own, or use it to break the law.

Game information

Game details and covers come from IGDB.com, and Steam libraries and achievements from Valve's Steam Web API. They belong to their owners and are shown to help you keep track of your own games. Game Vault is not made by or connected with Valve, Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo or IGDB. Game names and art are the property of their owners.

Your library

Your library is saved on your device. Without a Pikeworks account I do not hold a copy, so a library lost when the app is uninstalled or the device is reset can only come back from a backup file you saved. With an account, the latest backup is kept in it until you delete the account.

Availability and liability

Game Vault is provided as it is. Searching and Steam depend on services run by others and may sometimes be unavailable; your library always works without them. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected. Beyond that, and as far as the law allows, Pikeworks is not liable for indirect or consequential loss or for lost data.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and its courts have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom or in the EU, you keep the protections of your own local law.
