Quicker still, the feedback form in the game's menu sends the phone model and where you are, with a picture of the water if you tick the box, so there is nothing to explain.

Common questions

How do I land a big fish?

Hold to reel, and lift your thumb when the fish runs. On the normal setting you land every fish in the end: playing it well only makes the fight shorter and leaves the fish in better shape. Tap to reel, in the menu, lets you tap once to start reeling and again to stop, instead of holding.

I would rather not fight the fish at all.

Open the menu. Under Fishing, set Reeling to Gentle, which eases off for you, or Auto, which plays the fight. Hook bites for me takes care of the strike. Fish by itself lets you sit back and watch while the angler casts, hooks and reels alone; new kinds, records and rare colours wait for you, and touching the water takes over again.

Can I play with one hand, or sideways?

Yes. Hold the phone, under Screen in the menu, has Either way, Upright for one hand, and Sideways to see more of the water. Buttons on the left suits left hands, and Text size has a Large setting.

The fish are hard to see.

Turn on Easy-to-see fish under Fishing, which outlines fish under the water. If the motion is too much, set Motion to Less for calmer water and no shaking.

The phone gets warm, or the battery runs down.

Turn on Battery saver under Screen. It draws the game at 30 frames a second, which uses less power.

When does the game save?

By itself, after every catch, and whenever you leave the game, for a call or anything else. Coming back puts you where you were.

I bought the full game. How do I get it on a new phone?

Sign in to the same Google Play or App Store account you bought it with. The game checks when it starts and opens the full game by itself. If it does not, tap any Part of the full game button, then Already bought it? Restore it here.

My save has gone.

Your save is kept on your phone and I do not hold a copy, so I cannot get it back for you. Uninstalling the game or resetting the phone removes it, unless your phone's own backup brings it back. The full game is different: it is kept by your store account, so Restore always brings that back.
