Terms of use

The short version: you pay once, every tool is yours, and your files stay on your phone.

The agreement

Pagebench is an app made by Pikeworks, a sole trader in Northern Ireland. By installing it you agree to these terms. If you do not, please uninstall it.

What you get

Pagebench is paid for once, through Google Play or the App Store. That price covers every tool in the app and the updates to it. There is no subscription and nothing else to buy. You can use it on the devices your store account allows. You cannot resell it, take it apart to pass off as your own, or use it to break the law.

Refunds

Refunds go through the store you bought it from, under its own rules: Google Play and the App Store both let you ask for one. If something is wrong with the app, email me first and I will try to put it right.

Your files

Pagebench works on your files on your phone and keeps what it makes there. I do not hold a copy, so I cannot restore a file you have deleted or recover a password you have forgotten. Keep a copy of anything important somewhere else. Every tool saves a new file and leaves the original as it was.

You are responsible for the files you work on and what you do with them, including signing documents and sharing them.

Availability and liability

Pagebench is provided as it is and works offline. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected. Beyond that, and as far as the law allows, Pikeworks is not liable for indirect or consequential loss or for lost or damaged files, and any liability is limited to the price you paid for the app.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and its courts have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom or in the EU, you keep the protections of your own local law.
